Learning with Pink Programming!

Are you interested in data science? Are you longing for a welcoming and supportive programming community for women, trans and non-binary people? - Look no further!

On November 20th Pink Programming is hosting an independent event at Queenslab in Gothenburg.  Let us inspire you with our inspirational speaker Sara Thiringer, and let us learn more about programming and finding abnormalities in our data with Jun Auh, - two amazing Volunteers at Pink Programming.

Inspirational session: Sara’s Journey to Data Science!
Sara was a social science student with a background in NGO work when she discovered coding and statistics. Her journey to becoming a Data Scientist was a bumpy one, and in her talk she will share her struggles and learnings in order to hopefully inspire others to also dare take the step into tech.

Workshop: Spot the abnormal in your data.
During this workshop you will learn how to code anomaly detection with Jun Auh, Data scientist at Polestar! You'll learn core anomaly detection concepts, use cases, types, and build your own anomaly detector.

Language: Python
Level: Intermediate - It's helpful to know the basics of Python. Prior knowledge of machine learning is NOT required. And don’t worry if you’re not familiar with Python! We have awesome mentors who could help you out. And you should come and hang out with us and your fellow women, trans and non-binary anyway! Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about the prerequisites.

Details and tickets below!

Pink Sundays are our popular coding events where women, transgender and non-binary people can meet up, code and network together!
